The Lightbridge 2 ground system is an integrated transmitter which is very similar to the Inspire 1's transmitter, only that it has an SDI output. The Lightbridge 2 ground system comes with all of the switches you need to control your aircraft, plus the built-in essential video outputs: HDMI, SDI.
The Lightbridge 2 ground unit is a replacement or addition to the remote control for the LightBridge 2 unit. When used as a slave unit on the Lightbridge 2 it works as the controller for the gimbal.
You can transmit the same live HD view wirelessly to several devices by connecting multiple remote controllers in Master-Slave mode. You can increase efficiency by working together to accomplish complex imaging and broadcasting tasks. Adding a second ground station to your Lightbridge 2 system, the pilot can use the first Lightbridge 2 transmitter and the camera operator or director can use the second transmitter.
Lightbridge 2 supports up to one Master and three Slave devices at the same time, so the pilot, gimbal operator, director, and broadcast team can all receive the video signal and monitor the shooting process from different places. The Remote Controller has a transmission distance of up to 3.1 miles (5 km), and supports live broadcasting.
The Lightbridge ground station (transmitter) has a USB connection for an iOS or Android tablet or phone. The mobile devices connected to your Lightbridge can be used to control flight elements and view live video. The master and secondary transmitters can both use the app to view the live video simultaneously.
Lightbridge 2 transmitters are interchangeable and can be easily bound with the air end and then defined as either master or secondary controller.
The rechargable LiPo battery life of the device is up to 4 hours.
